I weighed and measured our friendly little giant today. He’s now 27 inches long and 19 pounds. Phew! No wonder he’s working through his 6-9 month stuff. He’s such a happy baby these days. Mari (Windy’s sister) has been here visiting and Jude has his first crush already. She’s been helping with him while I try to catch up on the huge backlog of work you get when you have a baby. :p – Thank you, Mari. It feels like he’s growing up even faster than Violet did. I’m scared! He’s so alert and is already learning how to get what he wants through his charm. Little rascal.
Violet’s shooting up like a bean. She’s getting so skinny. I can’t tell if it’s because she was a little sick or just a growth spurt. She did shoot up almost 2 inches since last August. Gotta work on getting a style of clothing that fits her shape, tall and skinny.
Anyways… here are a few pictures of the clan from January.

I can’t get over how big Jude is. I absolutely adore the sepia picture of V coloring at her desk. Wow. My sister-in-law has a daughter with the thin, long legs issue…I’ll ask her where she gets her pants.
Hugs!

Heh, you like that picture, mom? I actually got about 40 of them. You know me. I’ll have to find a way to let you look at them and give me your opinion as to which is yourr favorite.
Is Jude really 2 months younger than Laurence, Rosie? Ah, see, this is where I wish these guys could be around their cousins. Violet has so much fun with Carly, who is about her age. I’m sure Jude would adore Laurence and Laurence would get a kick out of a being a role model. Heh.
Clare, if you get any tips on how to make 3T clothes fit someone who’s tall and lean, let me know. For now, at least she LOVES dresses. Thank God!

I have a tip on how to make clothes fit a growing child…. You can sew little lace strips on stuff. Georgia and Valorie have these two particular red dresses that Mom made for Olivia and Terry a good 10 years ago, I have to put either a skirt or black pair of pants on them too, so the dresses are like big (longer shirts). I have Valoriee, Kiona and Georgia that are all growing out of everything.
I also love those pictures. They are adorable.. Now, I am missing having a ‘younger child’ in my life. All mine are getting more ‘independent’ as the days go by.

Hey, that’s a really good idea. I should do that. Of course right now all she’ll wear is dresses. At least Eva and I teamed up and have decided Friday is Fancy Dress Friday. The rest of the week is regular clothing and dresses. This princess thing, I tell ya….
