Jude’s officially the size of a 9 month old. He scored in the 97 percentile for height/weight and head size. At least he’s a guy. I blame the Wells genes, but you never know… could be that 6 foot 7 Paone/Bennington great grandpa I hear about finally getting his revenge. He’s 28 inches tall, 19 lbs and 10 oz and, well, who cares about head size anyway? Just one more way that all the cute clothes i have for him don’t fit right and get passed along to Amy and Linda for little Connor and Preston.
Violet needs some patching on her right eye — a few hours a day. Pray that goes well. We got her a few cute patches that go over her glasses. She did well though. She’s getting the whole procedure down now and is a real pro at all the little tests the doctor does. She’s using her eyes together and the crossing is fixed so far, but one eye is just a little weaker and the doctor wants to see it stronger. Ah, well.

I’m sorry V have to do the patching. At least now they get to put it over the glasses and not the eye itself. I remember wondering how I would ever get Connor to keep one on, if we were to have to do it, so I’m very impressed that she is dealing well with it.
It’ll be so funny to see Jude towering over Justin in a little bit. Justin, word to the wise…don’t pick on Jude or you may live to regret it. Haha.

Yeah, that Paone Grandfather is the reason my nine year old is taller then I am

Well, it hasn’t been so easy. I actually bought some patches that go over the eye too and used one today to see what works best. She did good with that. They make them in fun kids colors. I have to use a sticker chart though and give her a prize if she completes the chart. Seems to be working so far. We shall see.
And, about that Paone great grandpa, well, at least Jude’s a little boy. Just tough in the clothes department. Good news is, someone gave me a bunch of 18 month old clothes last week for summer, so I’m set for all possibilities. Phew.
