Happy 16th birthday, Teri! I tried numerous times to call you yesterday, but one phone or the other wasn’t working. Anyways, I hope you had a wonderful birthday and that everyone treated you like a princess. 
Wish I could have been there, but at least Renee is there to fill the big sister role. Happy new year and lots of love us Californites!

hey I called her… I heard that she doesn’t like the traditional birthday song. So, I revised it to the “oh, Happy Day” tune. Then her comment was “who’s this?” I was crushed (not). I would have liked to have been there, but at least Terri’s two older siblings are around to represent the rest of us.

Well, was trying. Took a few hours to do all the curls, heh
The live band at her party sang the birthday song and it came out really cool, and then everyone else sang it again. So even though Teri said she didn’t really want the song, she got it several times
